The competition pool is 6 lanes, 25 meters with the Colorado
timing system interfaced with Hytek Meet Manager program. A shallow
15x 20-metre tank will be available for warm up and warm down. (NO
DIVING). A coffee shop is available.
Concession: Coffee and general concession items will be
available during restricted times throughout the
competition.
Volunteer timers/officials will receive free
coffee and refreshments.

FORMAT: Timed Finals for all events. Age groups are as
follows: 8 and Under, 9, 10, 11, 12,13, 14 and 15 and over.
Seeding: all ages will be seeded together.
Timed Final Seeding: time final events will be swum all ages
together, scoring separately.

ELIGIBILITY:
All swimmers must be register with Swim BC/S.N.C or other
FINA affiliate. Swim BC swimmers must be registered in one of the
“Competitive” categories; no “Sessional” or “Pre-competitive”
swimmers can be entered. Age Group entered is based on the swimmer
age the first day of the meet. No qualifying times for 12 and Under
swimmers. The 13 and Over must have Proof of time for 200 IM in
4:00 minutes or 300Free in 5:40. All athlete entries must be
accompanied by their 9-digit registration number.
MEET RULES:
1. The meet will be run as a short course meet under Swim BC
and Swimming/Natation Canada rules.
2. SNC warm-up procedures will be in effect.
3. The “one- start” rule will be followed.
4. Heats will be swum slowest to fastest, all age
groups combined. Scratches are due 30 minutes prior to the
start of the session without penalty except loss of entry
fee.
5. Officials: Each team is required to provide 5 officials
for each session.
6. The Meet Management staff reserve the right to limit the
amount of entries into an event or create a suitable strategy in
order to finish the meet in timely manner (i.e. double lane an
event)
AWARDS: RIBBONS AND PRIZES for 1st to
6th place, individual Events and for the relays.
1st place aggregate trophies for best
individual highest- scoring point in their 6 individual events for
each age group boys and girls
1st, 2nd, 3rd
place trophies for the top 3 teams.
ENTRIES:

Team Fees: $4:00
2. Fees: $7:00 per
individual event and $10:00 for the relay. Entries not submitted
by HYTEK will
be $7:50 for individual event and $12.00 for
a relay.
3. Please enter all
times in short course meters. Teams from USA please use the current
conversion standard.
4. Deck Entries will be
allowed to fill empty lanes; no new heats will be created. The deck
entries are not eligible for awards/points they are only
exhibition. The fee is $10:00 payable at the time of entry.
Please enclose cheque made payable to Dynamo Swim Club.
Entries will not be accepted without Payment.
No refunds or fees for scratched events after the entry
deadline except with a medical certificate presented prior to the
meet start.
5. Entries must
be uploaded to Swimming Canada www.swimmeet.ca website. Entry file
e-mailed to Meet Management will not be accepted. Meet Manager: Ted

6. Proof of

11.The Swim Meet is by invitation and may be limited in
numbers to fit the time frame of the pool rental. You will be
notified by June 2nd, 2008 if your entries cannot be
accepted.
12.The Meet Management staff reserve the right to accept
entry from the swimmers of the host club.
