2008 / 2009 TALENT IDENTIFICATION IN SWIMMING

This is a unique opportunity for young high performance BCSSA swimmers to work under the direction of the author of the book “TALENT IDENTIFICATION IN SWIMMING” Lidia Lucaciu Menzies who identified and guided many young swimmers over the years who achieved scholarships for University and made the National and Olympic teams .She will be assisted by top-level National and International coaches. There will be A SUMMER CLINIC in July and YEAR ROUND CLINIC starting in September 15^th, 2008.  The first clinic is limited to 20 swimmers who are in Division 1,2,3 (summer 2008) and the second clinic is limited to 20 swimmers in Division 1,2 or 3 (summer 2008). The aims and goals of these clinics are to fine tune stroke mechanics, to enhance the swimmer’s stroke technique, and better understand the sport of swimming for the Long Term Athlete Development.

•          Open to swimmers competing this summer (2008) in division 1, 2 or 3.

Stroke correction and improvement.

Our high-qualified coaches will give you the most efficient techniques to master the Olympic swimming strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly) starts and turns.
